Rev. Linda Ellard Mouzon, PhD

The Rev. Linda Ellard Mouzon was born in Washington D.C.  She began her Christian training at Allen A.M.E. in southeast Washington. The majority of her Christian education was provided at Brown Memorial A.M.E. Church where she was a member of the YPD, Girl Scouts, junior ushers, and pianist for the youth choir. She enjoys Biblical studies and began teaching Sunday school at the age of 15.  After moving to the Baltimore area, Rev. Mouzon affiliated with Bethel A.M.E. Church. While at Bethel, she continued to teach church school and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society (WMS).  As a missionary, she counseled rape and incest victims and served as the leader for a division of the Missionary Society devoted to training young women 26 – 30 to become active and viable members of the WMS. In 1993, she transferred her membership to Union Bethel A.M.E. Church—Randallstown.

Reverend Mouzon believes a chronic care clinic will help break the cycle of drugs, disease and poverty in his community; and with your support he can continue her health ministry - putting his community empowerment and redevelopment plan into action.
